This is one of the finest Packard's in the Country. A
class winner at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours in 1996 it
is in beautiful shape cosmetically. At the Packards
International annual membership meeting in 2007 it was judged at
244 points out of a possible 250 and was given the Circle of
Champions Award (see picture of the award below). At that
same meet it was judged to be the best pre World War II open
car.
In January 2007 it was judged 100 Points by the Classic Car Club
of America at their annual meeting in Century City, California.
In addition it finished second in the voting for Best In Show.
The car has recently undergone a complete mechanical restoration
as well. The engine, transmission and all related parts
have been completely rebuilt by a well known specialist in Mc
Pherson, Kansas. The car runs better than new. |
